Angel Feather Sign

So, right before I go on a walk with my cat and dog . I always say to myself Archangel Michael please protect me, Taylor and Harry while we are on our walk today. I was just finishing saying it when all of a sudden out of nowhere a feather falls from the sky and lands on the ground in front of me. I knew it was a sign from Archangel Michael saying that he is listening and will keep us safe on our walk. I felt so good knowing that he was listening. We have free will, so if we don't ask for protection, then the angels can't help us. It was a great confirmation to keep on asking. ☮ ♥ Angels

Wow, I was asleep and now am Awake. I wasn't to worried about the Oil spill because I thought for sure someone would take care of it. Now I realize that I need to visualize a net of healing energy over that area and send Love to the Earth. So does everyone. We need to stay Awake and continue to focus positive healing energy to the Earth. Here is what the wise Grandmothers say:

"First move into your heart and call on us. We will meet you there. The Net of Light is lit by the jewel of your heart," they said, "so move into this lighted place within you and open to the Net of which you are a part. Bask in its calming presence. It holds you at the same time that you hold it.

"Now think of magnifying your union with us. We, the Great Council of the Grandmothers, are with you now, and all those who work with the Net of Light are also with you. There are thousands, even millions now connected in light," they said. "Along with this union, call forth the power of the sacred places on earth. These will amplify the potency of our joint effort. I am so excited that I finally bought my VW Bug Car. I always wanted to drive one but it was never a good time to buy it until now. It is a dark blue VW Bug that looks purple in certain light. It has great energy and is roomy and peppy. I have a feeling it will be my favorite car. I have already put a ☮ sign on it and plan on putting more. ☮ ♥ VW Bugs

Potent Pressure Points Rock ♥

Yesterday I had such a bad headache that I was nauseous and weak. Then I remembered a cool book my sister bought me a couple years ago called "Acupressure's Potent Points ~ A guide to self-care for common ailments" by Michael Reed Gach. So I sat on the floor with my pug and looked up the pressure points for a headache and tension. I did about 5 or 6 of the acupressure points and all the pain and discomfort disappeared within 10 minutes. Not only did I not have a headache or weakness, I actually felt an overwhelming sense of goodness. I was buzzing with feeling good, like I took a power nap or something. It was truly magical. Thank you my sister for being so wise and thank you Michael for writing this book. You guys Rock!! ☮ ♥ feeling good.

Great weekend

I had a great weekend. I was at my sister's house on Friday and Saturday. It was sooooo much fun. She put a couple highlights in my hair on Friday night and we did a Garage sale on Saturday. Her 2 boys were awesome!! I painted a couple of items to sell at the garage sale creating my own little craft fair.
Then on Sunday, I hung out in Albany with my parents and brothers. We ate at PF Changs and it was delicious! We also painted pottery and I painted a pencil cup with Peace signs all over it. I tend to sick with my obsessions. Thank you Liz for the wonderful time. You Rock! ♥ ☮ ♥

Opossum in my screened porch

Before I went to bed last night, I checked on my outside cat and there was an Opossum eating the cat food on my screened porch. It was kind of freaky to see, but the cat didn't seem to mind. It eventually left thru the pet door. So I looked it up in my Ted Andrews book ~ Animal Speak and the Opossum means ~ The use of Appearances. Do I need to "play dead" or put up a particular front to succeed most easily and effectively. We will see what the medicine of the opossum is trying to teach me. ☮ ♥♥♥

Fox, Woodpecker and Turkey

I had a lot of signs yesterday. I like to analyze them to see what they mean in my Animal Speaks book by Ted Andrews. First a baby woodpecker gets stuck in our screen porch. It means The Power of Rhythm and Discrimination ~ The foundation is there, so follow your own rhythms. Then a fox runs across our lawn. Which means Feminine magic of camouflage,shape shifting and invisibility ~ use it and learn its magic and any prize can fall to you. Then the Turkey came across my path. Which means Shared Blessings and Harvest ~ good fortune. So it looks like that if I use my own rhythm and magic, I will be successful. Sounds good to me. ☮

I love the website Operation Smiley Face. Her mission (Lubabat) is to spread smiles with small acts of kindness. I love it and think her mission is wonderful. Peeling away the layers...

Yesterday I grabbed a stalk of celery to chop for lunch and had to throw away the outer stalks to get to the nice ones. Then I thought, it's just like life, we need to peel away the outer layers to get to the good stuff underneath. It made me realize that everyone, even celery has the good stuff hidden and sometimes you just have to get to an inner layer.

Horse Shampoo for me

What a wonderful weekend it was here in NY. It was sunny and warm and I got carded for buying a lottery ticket!! Also we needed to buy shampoo, so we were at the store picking out one we could agree on and my husband wanted to buy a shampoo with horses on it called Mane 'n Tail. I told him it was horse shampoo and he said that the bottle has directions for Human use too. Since he really really really wanted it, how could I say no. He is a Sagittarius and likes horses and felt connected to the shampoo. So I try the shampoo and it is Awesome!! It is pure and makes my hair soft and shiny and smells great. I am going to buy the conditioner next week! Who would have thought that a shampoo for humans and animals was super cool! ☮ ♥

Magical Love Rug!

So, I was standing there brushing my teeth yesterday and I looked down at my rug and there was a Heart on it. It's a pretty old rug and some of the loops were coming out and it had formed into a Heart!!!! I was so excited that I took a picture. It really made my day and reminded me that all you need is Love. ☮ ♥

Kindness Matters

When I drive, I like to waive cars to go in front of me if I have the opportunity. It just feels right to me to be kind. People do it all the time for me and I am really grateful and I smile and waive back. Since it feels so good to be kind, why doesn't everyone do it. Is everyone in a hurry? Positive Agenda

I love good things and am grateful for the positive things in my life. Two things I am extremely grateful for are The Public Library and the blog Positive Agenda.

I recently started renting movies at my public library and am astonished by the fact that it is FREE. I have been paying $5 per movie at Blockbuster for years and never made the connection that I could get the same movies for free. Thanks for the heads up from my sister Liz and my friend Ulana, I finally gave it a try. Yesterday I rented Coraline and Sweeney Todd and didn't have to pay a dime and drove home smiling to myself that I have 2 free movies. Why did it take me sooooo long to discover the Public Library is beyond me. But better late than never.
Then there is the wonderful positive blog called Positive Agenda. I love her blog, it is so full of love, light and sage like words of Wisdom. It makes my day reading her wonderful posts. Thank you Positive Agenda you really rock!! Her positive website is ☛ Positive Agenda's blog ☚

I am so happy with my All Natural Soap from the website With Seeds of Intention. Marita makes the best natural soap in the world. I ordered a Peace soap and a custom healing soap with Frankinsense and they smell so good and are perfect to use in the shower. My husband loves them too. I think it is super cool that it comes in a bar and you have to slice a piece off when you need a new bar. Marita specialized in putting her intention into what you need for the soap. Snowman Contentment

I have been going to the innerlinks website for a couple weeks now and every other day my message was Contentment, so I took it as a sign that I really need to listen to this message since I got that message today. When I went outside to walk my pug, my husband was shoveling the driveway and decided that part of the message was to add joy to my life and I threw a snow ball at him. I giggled in delight and then I realized that I really really really wanted to build a Snowman. So I did! It's a cute little snowman about 2 feet high. I named him Bruce. I really felt contentment after I built little Bruce. Thank you innerlinks for the cool angel message. Peace. ☮

I read something really cool in "A Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson today. It really helped me to realize what is important. She says "Our power lies in our clarity about why we're on the earth. Winter miracle

I usually dread winter here in NY because I am always cold even inside. But I finally got smart and figured out how to stay comfortable inside and out. This year it occurred to me to wear my long johns under my pants and it makes all the difference in the world. Also I have been wearing a fleece vest on top of my turtle neck and sweater and that third layer keeps me toasty. I also found a pair of flannel jeans that I had tucked away and they are super warm. It sure feels like a winter miracle for me here in New York. Why did it take me so long to get comfy it beyond me but am just happy in the present moment. Peace, love, long johns.

Couch Potato Pug

Today was a great day! My mom came to visit today and we had a great time together. Also I finished another painting and think I am getting into the groove instead of procrastinating. The painting that I finished is called Couch Potato Pug and it features my Pug Taylor! Yeah for Taylor, she is so cute and such a sweet pug. I like to tell her that I love her everyday and give her lots of hugs and kisses. She is a sweetie pie and gets the award for awesomeness. I just listed the painting on Ebay. Peace, Love, Pugs....

Afghan Hound Love

I used to hate the winter because I couldn't do all the fun stuff you get to do in the warmer weather. But I finally realized what the winter is for: to hibernate: to lay around all day : to watch old movies : to paint a picture: to hang out with your pets and cuddle on the couch : to catch up on your reading. Now I love the winter because of all those things I would feel guilty about doing in the warmer weather. It's a great balance and I finally found it in accepting the cold weather. I finished a painting yesterday and it's a painting that makes me smile. I call it "Afghan Hound Love." I remember a very cool Afghan Hound that lived on my street when I was growing up and it was so beautiful. It is one of my favorite dogs to paint next to the pug which is probably the opposite of an Afghan Hound. I love dogs and plan on painting as many as I can this winter. Peace, Love, Dogs!

Valentine's Day Cards

I have been working a lot on my art this month. I'm actually enjoying the winter and staying inside and creating cards and painting rocks. For Valentine's Day this year, my cards are a Pug Valentine's Day card and a Love Valentine's Day card. They are for sale in my Etsy and Ebay shops. The Pug card I painted a while ago in acrylic and had it made into a card. The Love card is part of the painting on rocks series and choose love after reading so many books on how only Love is real. I love making cards and painting on rocks. Please let me know what you think of the Valentine's Day Cards.

The Imagination Game

Sometimes life seems hard. But life is also a game and if you know the rules, you can win. I am reading a book "The Magician's Way" by William Whitecloud and it is magical. To win in life, you play the imagination game. You just imagine what you want. There isn't anything in life you can't do if you imagine it first. Choose your own reality.

If you are going to take a test, first imagine you knowing all the answers and getting an A. Just by focusing on the end result and not fighting the fact that you don't want to study will give you the power to control your attitude. By changing your attitude and changing what you focus on, you will end up with an entirely different end result - the one you want to have - an A. I am still reading A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson and loved it when she talks about Faith. To trust in the force that moves the universe is faith. Faith isn't blind, it's visionary. I have been reading "A Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson and now have been infatuated with Love. I love love. I also love it when she said "Love is what we were born with. I love the book "This Time I Dance!" by Tama J. Kieves. It is so inspirational to create and be an artist. I love when she says "But this much I know: every genuine tear contains magic healing properties. And "Take the tiniest step you can imagine toward your dream and you're back on track. Even five minutes can wheel destiny around." To me, this book is a sign that I'm on the right track and quitting my job was the best thing I can do to live a creative magical life. I was visiting my sister a couple days ago and she gave me 2 very cool art pieces from Rafael at My Tiny Studio. I love them!!!!! I am very into Crows and the Crow Painting is wonderful! Well, sometimes I can get a little anxious about things in my life and decided to make a list to relax me and keep me focused. I go through the list one by one until I feel better. Here is my list:
