Ginger Tea

Ginger helps soothe & cleanse the respiratory tract, making it a valuable tea during cold and flu season. Grate 1 heaping teaspoon of an unpeeled ginger root into a cup of hot water. Let the tea steep for 2 minutes. Strain or let the ginger settle to the bottom of the cup. It's my favorite way to stay healthy and clear headed in the winter.

Puppy Bowl

I love Superbowl Sunday and not because of Football but because of the Puppy Bowl! What an exciting game watching the puppies run, play and tackle. It is the Fifth PuppyBowl and my 3rd year watching it. I love seeing the pug and all the mixes. My favorite this year is a cool mix breed named Candy-corn.
