Angels light the way

For some reason this paragraph in A Return to Love really made me be present with my thoughts all day long and really made sense. ☮ ♥
We must learn to think only divine thoughts. Angels are the thoughts of God, and in Heaven, humans think like angels. Angels light the way. Angels do not begrudge anyone anything, angels do not tear down, angels do not compete, angels do not constrict their hearts, angels do not fear. That's why they sing and that's how they fly. We, of course, are only angels in disguise. ~ Marianne Williamson.

Peeling away the layers...

Yesterday I grabbed a stalk of celery to chop for lunch and had to throw away the outer stalks to get to the nice ones. Then I thought, it's just like life, we need to peel away the outer layers to get to the good stuff underneath. It made me realize that everyone, even celery has the good stuff hidden and sometimes you just have to get to an inner layer.

I love this quote from A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. "Love takes more than crystals and rainbows, it takes discipline and practice. It's not just a sweet sentiment from a Hallmark card. It is radical commitment to a different way of being, a mental response to life that is completely at odds with the thinking of the world."

It's all good...

I read something really cool in "A Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson today. It really helped me to realize what is important. She says "Our power lies in our clarity about why we're on the earth. The important players of the coming years will be the people who see themselves as here to contribute to the healing of the world." I love that and I want to help.

Just Love....

A couple weeks ago I was taking notes while reading "A Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson and this is what I wrote down. The world changes when we change. The world softens when we soften. The world loves us when we choose to love the world. Surrender and just love. Love, love, love, love, love, love yourself.

Believe in Faith

I am still reading A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson and loved it when she talks about Faith. To trust in the force that moves the universe is faith. Faith isn't blind, it's visionary. Faith is believing that the universe is on our side, and that the universe knows what it's doing. Faith is a psychological awareness of an unfolding force for good, constantly at work in all dimensions. Our attempts to direct this force only interferes with it. Our willingness to relax into it allows it to work on our behalf. Without faith, we're frantically trying to control what it is not our business to control, and fix what it is not in our power to fix. What we're trying to control is much better off without us, and what we're trying to fix can't be fixed by us anyway. Without faith, we're wasting time. ~ Marianne Williamson

A Return to Love

I have been reading "A Return to Love" by Marianne Williamson and now have been infatuated with Love. I love love. I also love it when she said "Love is what we were born with. Fear is what we learned here. The Spiritual journey is the relinquishment, or unlearning, of fear and the acceptance of love back into our hearts. Love is the essential existential fact. It is our ultimate reality and our purpose on earth. To be consciously aware of it, to experience love in ourselves and others, is the meaning of life."
