Peeling away the layers...

Yesterday I grabbed a stalk of celery to chop for lunch and had to throw away the outer stalks to get to the nice ones. Then I thought, it's just like life, we need to peel away the outer layers to get to the good stuff underneath. It made me realize that everyone, even celery has the good stuff hidden and sometimes you just have to get to an inner layer.

I love this quote from A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson. "Love takes more than crystals and rainbows, it takes discipline and practice. It's not just a sweet sentiment from a Hallmark card. It is radical commitment to a different way of being, a mental response to life that is completely at odds with the thinking of the world."

I agree 100% with your quote! It takes a lot of work and commitment to continually come from a place of love. It is natural to slip up, but having awareness is half the battle to get back on track.
